Real Estate prices have increased dramatically across the U.S., and some markets have seen extraordinary increases. In an attempt to predict future market growth (and then be there when it happens), we want to understand why these markets have see such rapid growth.
We began with data we had already collected to see where correlations exist. So far they don’t make sense.
The market cycles for the 20 areas are not similar.
The demographic data we typically use also does not show clear trends, and those with strong correlations don’t provide much insight.
So we will keep working and update on findings. For now, here is the 1st draft.
