Looking back I found this article from early 2018. It was a paper I put some of the research I found when seeing how the residential housing market median sold price compared with the growth of inflations, as measured by CPI (Consumer Price Index).
It is fascinating how much real estate has outperformed the CPI over the last couple of decades.
